• Rescheduled Quiet Queer Read-up
  • Location: Amy's Place, 120 n First Street, Champaign
  • Time: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
  • Hosted by: Amy's Place is a lesbian-owned, locally-owned queer bar in Champaign, and is currently the only LGBTQ+ bar in CU. Carnation Bookhouse is a queer-owned pop-up bookshop focused on queer joy and progressive literature.
  • Details: Hang out with Carnation Bookhouse for quiet reading night! Bring a book, have a drink, make a lit-loving friend!

Thursday (10/1)

• Thirsty Thursgays White Lie Party
  • Location: Amy's Place, 120 n First Street, Champaign
  • Time: 9:00p - 1:00 am
  • Hosted by: Amy's Place is a lesbian-owned, locally-owned queer bar in Champaign, and is currently the only LGBTQ+ bar in CU. GayBar is a CU-based traveling queer party space. 
  • Details: Wear a white shirt with your lie on it, music by DJs SXL and Korpokat, 19-20 $5 cover, 21+ free.

Saturday (10/3)

• Herra's Drag Menagerie
  • Location: The Space, 1 e Main Street, Champaign
  • Time: Doors at 7:30 pm, Show at 8:00 pm
  • Hosted by: Herra Winn is a CU-based drag performer and event organizer. The Space is a Champaign restaurant and performance venue.
  • Details: Drag show featuring Addy Rahl, Mason Morningstar, Pix E Styx, The Creature, Mr. Thom Foolery, Dixon Trouble, Seymore Bones, and EDL . Every 1st and 3rd Saturday at The Space, no cover.

Sunday (10/4)

• Queer Climb @ Boneyard Boulders
  • Location: Boneyard Boulders, 119 E University Ave, Champaign
  • Time: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
  • Hosted by: Boneyard Boulders is the second location of CU-based climbing gym Urbana Boulders.
  • Details: Every first Sunday, $14 for day pass and shoes, climb with fellow queers!
